Passkeys

A passkey lets you sign in with the same unlock you already use on your device - Face ID, Touch ID, or Windows Hello - instead of waiting for an email link. It is both faster and safer: a passkey only works on the real Design Loft Tampa site, so a look-alike site can never trick you out of it.

Adding a passkey

  1. Sign in (with an email link, if this is your first passkey).
  2. Open Profile → Security.
  3. Select Add passkey and follow your device’s prompt - a face scan, fingerprint, or key tap.
  4. Give it a recognizable name, like “MacBook” or “iPhone”.

Next time you sign in on that device, enter your email and the passkey prompt appears - approve it and you are in.

Managing passkeys

Your passkeys are listed in Profile → Security. Add one per device you regularly use; remove any you no longer need (a sold laptop, a retired phone). Removing a passkey never locks you out - the email link always works as a fallback.
